Jennifer and Chad were married in an intimate June ceremony surrounded by family and friends at the Seaside Chapel. I was inspired to design a black and white wedding book that will stand the test of time with it’s simple elegance.
Lauren & Robert were married in The Meeting House at Carillon Beach in full military regalia. Who doesn’t love men in uniform? Robert in his dress blues had not only a great bunch of groomsmen, but also traditional Army Sabre Bearers. I loved that after the ceremony, the newlyweds exited the Meeting House under the sabres. As the couple recessed through the arch of swords, that the last two men to make up the arch lower their swords in front of the couple, detaining them momentarily as they kissed, while the sword bearer on the right, with his sword, gives the bride a gentle “swat” on the rump and utters, “Welcome to the Army.”
Lauren’s mom who is affectionately called Mrs. Murph by the couples friends, was able to fully enjoy each and every moment of her eldest daughters wedding, thanks to the wonderful planning by Victoria and Avis. Robert’s mom, had the blue glasses engraved with a “M” and were the perfect keepsake for their guests.
Lauren, Robert and I were able to sneak away for a few minutes before sunset. They truly enjoyed each other and were so much fun to photograph!
A delicious seated dinner in the Meeting House by Townsend Catering (the very best!) was enjoyed by all in the romantic atmosphere. Their guests danced and really had a blast during the reception! The {PG} PhotoBooth was enjoyed by the guests, as you can see below. It is a great addition to any wedding reception. They were all dancing and singing, especially the army guys in their dress blues.
Mr & Mrs Kirkwood left their reception under a hail of gigantic sparklers. Congratulations Lauren & Robert!
Very interesting article that I wish every couple would read. I have had several couples post a polite sign, or mention it in their wedding program, and it works!

Jenny and Travis had a beautiful beach wedding followed by a reception on the green in Rosemary Beach. I loved the light feminine look to all of her details, especially her breathtaking flowers. (Peonies are my very favorite!) From her dress, to the cake, everything was picture perfect. My favorite time was when she and her grandmother were sharing a moving moment right after the ceremony. I could see how very much they mean to each other. I also loved spending time with just Jenny and Travis for a few moments on the beach for me to photograph their newlywed images. Congratulations Mr & Mrs Doyle!

I was so happy to photography Brooke and Mark’s fun wedding. It has been a while since I have seen guests dancing so much at a reception! Everyone got down to the great music Mark’s uncle was playing. As a part of the groom’s tradition, all the groomsmen wore super hero shirts under their tuxes to unveil to everyone at the reception. It was so darn funny!
One of the sweetest moments was when Brooke presented her mom with the bouquet to honor all the love and support she had shown to Brooke over the years. It was especially fitting as Mother’s Day was only a few hours away. Their shared tears and a special dance and I just LOVED that!
I was blessed to have met and worked closely with Danielle, Isabella and Kevin over the past year. I had the pleasure of photographing their engagement session, bridal and several other shoots around the Tallahassee area. Their great energy and Danielle’s funny quips always kept me smiling. She is so darn funny! Isabella is a sweet young lady with her mom’s silly side. It was wonderful watching this loving family come together as one. Kevin calls Danielle “Nelly” I do not really know the true reason behind this sweet nickname, but I do know whenever he said it, she would giggle. And I really loved that! Their care for each other and sincere love shines throughout their day, and especially through their images. My second shooter, assistant and I LOVED photographing their gorgeous Pebble Hill wedding!
